GWM Game Day Guide: Members' Day

Members will have the spotlight shone on them on Sunday when the One New Zealand Warriors acknowledge and celebrate their contribution with Members’ Appreciation Day at Go Media Stadium.

It coincides with a tripleheader football programme climaxing with the Warriors' fourth-round NRL encounter with the Newcastle Knights.

Before that the focus for members will be an exclusive event at Lilyworld starting at 3.30pm.

Members are invited to attend the special pre-game festivities featuring quizzes, prizes, guest speakers and other fun activities.

All members present at Go Media Stadium will also be eligible for the major prize of return flights to Brisbane, two nights’ accommodation and tickets to the One New Zealand Warriors’ round 23 match against the Dolphins at Suncorp Stadium on August 11.

On the field there’ll be a feast of football for members and fans alike on what will be a day of Knights, as it were.

After gates open at 1.15pm, the two clubs go to battle three times starting with the contest between the Jersey Flegg Cup (under-21) teams kicking off at 1.30pm.

That’s followed by the New South Wales Cup battle kicking off at 3.20pm and the main event between the NRL sides at 6.05pm.

In the entertainment-packed halftime break the big attraction will be The Hits’ Mascot Race with Jono and Ben along with other regular features.

Also look out for activities-packed FunZone for kids near Gate B.
