One New Zealand Warriors Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad and Jackson Ford are continuing to follow NRL concussion protocols after being ruled out of the club’s third-round clash against North Queensland in Townsville on Saturday.

Both players were unable to return to the field against the Roosters last Saturday after undergoing head injury assessments during the match.

Ford was on the field just two minutes before being taken off for an assessment following a collision with Roosters prop Lindsay Collins.

Nicoll-Klokstad’s involvement in the match ended at the 53-minute mark after he was felled by a head knock.

Three players have come off the One New Zealand Warriors' injury list.

Loose forward Jazz Tevaga made his return from shoulder and hernia issues with the club’s New South Wales Cup side last weekend while second rower Bayley Sironen was back from a knee complaint.

He had 14 minutes on the field as 18th man in the NRL clash against the Roosters after the One New Zealand Warriors activated the rule following the loss of two players to head injuries (Ford and Nicoll-Klokstad).

Centre Rocco Berry has been included on the NRL’s squad’s extended bench released today to take on the Cowboys but has been named to make his comeback with the unbeaten New South Wales Cup side against North Sydney in Auckland on Sunday.
