Current captain Simon Mannering and Ali Lauitiiti have comfortably captured the most votes to fill the two second row positions in the Vodafone Warriors’ People's Choice 20th Anniversary Team.

Mannering was the fans’ overwhelming favourite capturing more than 42 per cent of all votes cast.

Last year he became only the second player to reach the mark of 200 NRL appearances for the club and this season, his 11th in the competition, he has lifted his career tally to 227 games, a club record 127 of them as captain.

Lauitiiti, who played 115 times for the Vodafone Warriors from 1998-2004, secured 26 per cent of the votes.

Polling solidly for third spot was Stephen Kearney (79 games) while there was next to nothing between long-time team-mates Awen Guttenbeil (170 games) and Logan Swann (195 games) for fourth and fifth with Guttenbeil fractionally ahead. Wairangi Koopu (159 games) was the next best-supported.

The selection of Mannering and Lauitiiti follows the choice of Brent Webb as the top fullback in the www.warriors.kiwi poll while P J Marsh was the choice at hooker.

The props will be the next positions to be voted on.

The winners for hooker, fullback and the second row are:
