Gatorade has become the Vodafone Warriors’ latest high-profile recruit signing on as the club’s official sports drink for the next two seasons.
Through the agreement Gatorade will receive exclusive sports drink pourage for Vodafone Warriors matches at Mount Smart Stadium along with access to tickets, player appearances and unique opportunities for fans to experience what it takes to be a professional athlete.
Vodafone Warriors commercial manager Glenn Critchley welcomed the global presence that Gatorade brings to the club’s sponsor portfolio.
“Gatorade has a long history of fuelling some of the world’s most prominent athletes and we are delighted to welcome them into the Vodafone Warriors family,” he said.
“We are excited about collaborating with a global brand and exploring the opportunities presented by the world-leading Gatorade Sports Science Institute.”
The Vodafone Warriors join Gatorade’s extensive sponsorship portfolio in New Zealand alongside the Wellington Phoenix, SKYCITY Breakers, Black Sticks and the Millennium Institute of Sport and Health.

The Vodafone Warriors, currently seventh on the NRL ladder, take on the Newcastle Knights in their Women in League match at Mount Smart Stadium on Sunday, May 31 (4.00pm kick-off).
