The Vodafone Warriors are tapping into the highly-successful ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 to build up the club’s fan engagement team for the 20th anniversary season.

Coming on board next month as fan engagement manager is Rodney Wallace, who is currently marketing operations manager for Cricket World Cup 2015.

Bianca Bush started as the club’s replacement events and entertainment manager this week and Georgina Temm begins as memberships coordinator next Monday.

“These appointments are the result of the advertising campaign we launched earlier in the year for these three roles,” said Vodafone Warriors managing director Jim Doyle.

“The response was absolutely phenomenal. We had hundreds of applications and thank all those people who put their names forward.

“We are committed to both developing and improving all aspects of our fan engagement and membership operation.

“Rodney was the outstanding candidate for the fan engagement manager’s position.

“He impressed us with his depth of experience in the customer services sector and we have great confidence in him.

“His involvement in the Cricket World Cup will be hugely beneficial.”

Wallace has been with Cricket World Cup 2015 Ltd since 2013 while he has previously had customer-focused roles with Contact Energy, New Zealand Post, Z Energy, Dulux New Zealand and Colgate Palmolive NZ.

He’s due to start with the Vodafone Warriors on April 20.
