Vodafone Warriors take field as selected

Back rower Sebastine Ikahihifo has been confirmed to make his NRL debut in the Vodafone Warriors’ 21st-round clash against Manly at Patersons Stadium tonight (5.30pm kick-off local time, 9.30pm kick-off NZ time).

A two-time NYC premiership winner with the Vodafone Junior Warriors in 2010 and 2011, the Mangere East junior is included on the bench alongside his former NYC team-mate Sam Lousi as well as experienced Jacob Lillyman and Sione Lousi. Ikahihifo becomes Vodafone Warrior No 176 and the fifth player from the 2011 NYC team to make his debut this year.

The 21-year-old Sam Lousi made his debut against Newcastle just last Saturday night when he was called in at the last minute after originally-selected Steve Rapira pulled up with a hamstring in his final run in the warm-up.
