Chance to go four points clear in NYC
Sunday 5 August 2012 9:59 AM
Victory over Cronulla today would give the Vodafone Junior Warriors a four-point lead – temporarily at least – on the NYC points table.
Penrith, previously second-placed on 31 points, lost to Melbourne last night while the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs beat Newcastle to join the Panthers on the same number of points.
With a win today the Vodafone Junior Warriors would move to 35 points. Their lead would be trimmed to three points if Canberra beats Brisbane later this afternoon.
The Vodafone Junior Warriors have taken the field with the same starting line-up selected on Tuesday. Jordan Meads and Raymond Faitala-Mariner have been left off an extended bench.
